Myrna's Story
Life
After working at banks for over 39 years, December 7, 2007 was my LAST day at the office. I am not excately sure what I am going to do yet, but it will be fun figuring it out. Just got re-married (after almost 20 years divorced) in April 2008, no kids, no pets (I had 2 cats, but lost them both to cancer in 2006/2007). A good day for me is geting out in the open air, on a motorcycle, walking, or just sitting by a lake enjoying the quiet. I enjoy hanging out with friends, having a good lunch, good drinks or just sitting and talking. My class of 1964 from San Lorenzo High School had its 40th reunion in 2004, had a great time, reconnected with some old friends. Anybody viewing my profile and wants to come to our 45th reunion in 2009, let me know!

Well, my "story" as of 2008 is above, but things change. I'm still retired...I say I want to get a part-time job, but I really don't think I want one....I enjoy not having to go to work anymore. Unfortunately, I'm divorced again. I was married in 2008 with grand hopes that it would last the rest of my life, but I'm old enough to know when it's just not going to work, so we separated and divorced in 2011. I'm OK though, I enjoy spending time fixing u...Expand for more
p my apartment, hanging out with friends and seeing my sisters once in a while. In the next year or so, I plan to buy a condo in a nice area and move for the last time. As always, anybody viewing my profile and reading this "story" is welcome to contact me by email. I do stay in touch with people that will be working on the next class reunion, and we'd love to see everybody there. email me at myrnar (at) live (dot) com
Guess it's time for another update: December 2013
Did not buy a condo (yet), but I did move again. I'm in Santa Rosa now, in a nice, usually quiet, apartment in the North West part of Santa Rosa. I'm still trying to finish unpacking...I'm downsizing (again) so it's a bit of a challenge. When the weather gets a little warmer, I plan on getting out and exploring this beautiful area. I've made a few friends here, and I have long time friends less than 30 miles away. I do miss some people in the Bay Area, but as long as I have wheels, they are just a couple of hours away! I will be working on the reunion committee soon, hard to believe it'll be 50 years next year! Sandi Centoni is heading up the committee, so please contact her or me with any questions. We want this one to be a huge success!!!
