Nadine's Story
I relocated to California from Brooklyn, NY in 1997. I was born and raised in Bed-Sty and I have many fond memories of the "hood". I took the good with the bad and it all has made me the upbeat, fun-loving, optimistic person I am today. I LOVE waking up every morning and greeting each day with an new appreciation for life. My profile picture includes from left to right my dear friends Mitch, Lori, ME, Kathy and Lan. Lan passed away on Mother's Day 2008. We all miss her immensely. To know her is to love her.
I enjoy going to Karaoke at the Moon River Inn, Sacramento, CA on Friday and Saturday nights. I have a special fondness for mature adults, and many of my older friends get out and sing and dance with the rest of us. Boy do they know how to live! My great-grandmother was my hero and I was very fortunate to have enjoyed a very close and loving relationship with her, and as a result, I have a strong appreciation for older adults and I just love to be around them. I learn so much from them, spiritually as well as intellectually.
Currently, I sell real estate in Natomas and Elk Grove, CA (very close to Sacramento). I also match realtors to clients nationwide as I am a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Network. I am currently working on my website, matchmearealtor, wherein I will offer my services FREE OF CHARGE, matching people looking to buy or sell real estate with real estate professionals who are dedicated to treating them the way they (the client) wants to be treated. Finding the right realtor can be very stressful. My service removes that burden so that one's experience buying or selling a home is less frustrating and more enjoyable, as it should be! My love of people has inspired me to use my people skills in a way that affects people and communities in a positive way! My website will be up and running by Christmas. Aside from Karaoke and working, I am learning how to play golf. I hit the ball really well yesterday and I've only had three lessons in the past three months. I am finding out why so many people enjoy this seemingly boring sport :) I have a very good and patient teacher, who also happens to be my very dear friend John. John competed in the Olympic trials in 1984. His race: the 60 meter high hurdles. Impressed? Me too! John was a world class track athlete during the early to mid 80s and I am fortunate to have him as my golf teacher :)
