Life Hi there friends, I would like to share my life with you. My passion is to work in developing countries and help to eradicate extreme poverty. Join me and the rest of the Medical Team from "Feed the Children" We are volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, teachers, laypersons and non-medical individuals who reach out to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of children and families in developing countries. Led by Dr. Larry Biehler, Medical Director of Feed The Children, we go on four mission trips every year. Here is a breakdown of what happens after each team arrives: Medical, dental, eye glass, evangelism, bible school and pharmacy clinics are set up; Clinics are set up in a different village each day where local schools, churches or community buildings house the temporary clinics; Basic physical assessment and diagnosis is made to patients; Proper medication or treatment is prescribed; Prescriptions are filled in our on-site pharmacy free of charge to the patient; used eyeglasses are fitted by computer from the refurbished stock of donated lenses, again at no charge to the patient; The dental team treats the tremendous dental needs of the community; Below is a tentative schedule of trips planned for 2007.
