hey you all, from north carolina where i settled. i got married, had two children, divorced, went to college, worked at several kinds of teaching but have done lactation counseling for the last five years.now i have four grandchildren, garden extensively and am a beekeeper.the gospel and my testamony of the savior has been the cornerstone of my life, and i look forward to serving a mission soon.anyone interested is free to contact me. update/ aug.2010 the last few years have been ones of change and growth. i lost my dad to cancer, and spent a year caring for my mother before she died. we visited local kinfolks and i gathered genealogy from all sides, plus lots of family stories. my dad , when his cancer was discovered at stage 4b,was distressed at all he still wanted to do for his grandkids, and that his greatgrands wouldnt remember him.so, that idea became the impetus for my journey into story collection, and i have almost completed the book for publication. it is a collection of several generations of family stories, to rekindle memories for the adult readers, and create loving bonds with the young ones that never knew the subjects of the stories. i am working by hand drawing on retrograde ageing of some photos, so the kids can get an idea of what some kin looked like that we have no actual kid photos of. the book will include house and area photos and drawings as well. we have a family reunion each november, and i hope to have the stories, art and photos ready for next years reunion. i never new this would entail so much work! visit my tree on ancestry.com if you would like! i am so thankful for the promise in the gospel of jesus christ that as we are faithful we can look forward to a joyful r...Expand for more
