Nancy's Story
Life
After graduating from Evans in 1970, I attending Florida Presbyterian/Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, and received a BA in Psychology in 1974. I returned to Orlando and got a MS in Industrial Psychology from the University of Central Florida (class time was 74-76, finished my thesis in 81). I have been working for the FAA in Washington DC since 1976. I started out as a psychologist, designing and directing their selection programs for managers and executives. I am now the Director of System Operations, Airspace and Aeronautical Information Management for the Air Traffic Organization....Expand for more
Long title...it just means that I am responsible for the design and efficiency of the nation's airspace and the information/data that goes into aeronautical charting. I have been married 27 years to Keith, an astronomer who is the Deputy Director of Operations for the Hubble Space Telescope. We have 2 great sons. Ryan is 22 and just graduated from Philadelphia University, and Christopher, almost 17, who will be a senior in HS next year. They are the light of my life! I am still in touch with Susan Plietchwait (now Bradley) and Terry Horne (now Newton). Would love to hear from everyone!
