Posted: 03/16/14 â It has been great joining the 40th reunion committee and reconnecting with several wonderful classmates on the team. I have also been part of the Buchser All Class Picnic reunion committee since learning of that event in 2007. If you ever get a chance to attend, itâs a blast (and free!) and is open to ANYONE who ever attended BHS â even if only for a semester! 3rd Sunday in August â Central Park, Santa Clara - been going on for something like 14 years! Anyway, a bit about meâ¦after high school I worked in the electronics manufacturing industry. Getting laid off in Dec 1974 was the best thing that happened to me. currently work in high tech in Silicon Valley and love it. I was fortunate to find my best friend and love of my life while I was still very young. We have been married forever, have a wonderful daughter and we purchased my family home in Santa Clara from my mother back in 1997. The best thing about owning that home (side note: my parents bought it new in 1955 for $12,250!) is being able to host most of our family gatherings, including Christmas each year. Being one of 8 children, it is a total blast â some call it organized chaos. Many Buchser alumni still live in the neighborhood. I have even organized a neighborhood reunion where we had about 75 people show up. Need to do that again. Hope to see all of my classmates at our 40th reunion on August 16, 2014 at the San Jose Fairmont!
