Nancy's Story

School Moved to Montclair when I first started elementary school, and went to Monte Vista Elementary (really ironic... my grandaughter is starting to attend a brand new school just a few blocks from my home... named... yep... Monte Vista Elementary! I took her to Montclair to take pictures of MY "Monte Vista" to show to the new principal.) Went to Vernon Jr. High School and then on to Montclair, where I graduated from in 1966. Went right to work after graduation and have been working ever since. Have taken a lot of specialized classes for my profession, and now hold a designation which is equivilant to a Master's Degree and which only 4% of my colleagues in the U.S. have, so am pretty proud of that coveted designation. two children, Scott born in 1970 and Trisha born in 1972. I live in Murrieta, CA and have adopted and am raising my two grandchildren, Breyana (born in 1994) and David (born in 1999). Fast Forward to 2015: My husband just died in August of 2015. We would have had our 47th Wedding Anniversary a month later, in September. Still raising my Grandchildren. My granddaughter, Breyana, is now 21, and attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles (she still lives with me, and commutes to school), and is working two jobs. My grandson, David, is now 16 and has always been an athletic type! I'm looking forward to attending our 50th MHS Reunion in September of 2016, in hopes of seeing nearly all that's left of our graduating class! Everyone should plan to attend this one! (Dang... it could be our last!)

Breyana loved her present for her Sweet 16th Birthday, on June 8, 2010. She got a brand new Laptop Computer! A new MacBook Pro Laptop from Apple! (Along with a printer and extra "stuff".) She actually jumped 3 feet high

Our puppy Hannah - Her eyes aren't really green! They're brown, almost the color of her coat, but you know... the "red-eye" effect of a camera... just doesn't know what to do with "puppy eyes"!

Our puppy Hannah when she was little. She's a pure-bread "Beagle", but without the black spots. She's called a "Lemon" colored Beagle. She's sooo very, very smart and loveable!. Taught her to ring a bell when she wants
