Nancy's Story
Life
I graduated in 1969, went to Ricks College for 1 year, and married in 1970 to Gayle Crawford, who was from Lincoln, Nebraska. He was in the Air Force, and we lived in California, Okinawa, then came home to Offutt Air Force Base for a number of years. We moved to Otis Orchards, Washington, near Spokane, where he was stationed in 1989. He retired two years later, but we've stayed here, loving the Pacific Northwest.
I have had a life filled with music. At T.J. I was in choir, madrigal, etc. I have taught piano lessons, and accompanied school choirs. For 12 years I worked for the Spokane Symphony as Ticket Office Manager. In November of 2007 the Fox Theater in Spokane reopened after a long renovation, and my current position is Box Office Manager. ave expanded. It is wonderful to be so near to the arts. I attend many concerts and have enjoyed listening to many world-renowned musicians. The Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox (it was renamed) is a very beautiful theater.
My husband and I have 7 beautiful children, and 10 grandchildren.
My hobbies include photography, hiking, cycling (mountain bike), and gardening.
My religion is important to me as well, and I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. I acknowledge that all the good in life that has come to me are the result of blessings from a loving Heavenly Father who watches over us and wants us to return to Him someday. His son, Jesus Christ, has made that possible through his infinite atonement. Now I am trying to live an honorable life that will merit that reward. I have been truly blessed and am living a very happy life.
