Nancy Garrett:  

I was born in Pasadena, California at Huntington Memorial Hospital. My parents were divorced and I lived with my father until he passed away early in life in September 1962. He was a Branch Manager for a large company so we moved around. We lived in Redlands, CA, Davenport, Iowa, Covina, CA. I currently live in Seal Beach, CA with my husband. We have lived in Long Beach, Los Alamitos & Seal Beach areas for the last 49 years. I am married to John Garrett from Detroit, MI, who I met when working at Xerox Medical Systems in Pasadena. I spent grade school years as follows: 3rd-6th grades at Sacred Heart in Redlands, CA; 7th grade boarding at Marymount in Palos Verdes. My father was promoted & we moved to Davenport, Iowa, where I attended boarding schools: 8th grade Our Lady of the Angels Academy & 9th grade at Mount Saint Clair both in Clinton, Iowa. After my father passed away at the young age of 52 in September 1962 I was moved with my mother in Covina, CA, where I attended 10th-12th grades at Charter Oak High School where I graduated in 1965.
