I’ve had a long and varied life. I moved as a 17 year-old to Southern California, and lived there for many years – on the beach. It was kind of a wild and crazy life. At age 24 I met Jesus and that radically changed everything. I met Jesus when I was dusting someone else’s Bible one day, and I felt God say open this book. No more drugs and wild parties. I ended up getting married and having three children. I worked on a nursing degree and finally achieved it at age 26. I have a bachelors in nursing and ended up working for 35 years in the intensive care unit at an huge inner city teaching hospital and taught nursing as well. Truly I can say I found what I was made to do in life. I have been utterly fulfilled being a mom and nurse. At age 70 I am still working as a nurse though now I am a hospice nurse.
