Nancy's Story
Life
After high school, I stayed in Douglas until August 1988 when I decided to venture out of the state to Colorado. I attended college where I met my wonderful husband. We were married in 1992. I lost my wonderful husband Lance September 1, 2012 to Parkinson Disease that he fought for years.
I currently have 4 wonderful pets that are my kids. One dog Molly. Three cats, Dakota, Scooter and Oreo.

ot of time on genealogy, especially a military book on my family and my late husband's family. I spend lots of time outside during the summer doing gardening and yard work and sitting around listening to the quietness.
I have three step-sons, two step-daughter-in-laws, and five step-grandchildren.
I make it back to Douglas every other month or so as my parents and several siblings still live in Douglas. It is always interesting to go back to Douglas to see what has changed.
