I have been doing Medical Billing for 22 years, and I love it. I guess it's because I have always been good with #'s. I can remember all of the procedure codes and diagnosis, I can also go just about anywhere and find work (if I had to).
Only one drawback, when I look at a series of numbers, I see a diagnosis, such as 789.00=abdomina...Expand for more
l pain. You get the idea.
I am now working for the DOD. Yeah, me, in the military setting. Actually, the views are much better than an office full of women. Navy bases are on the ocean, too, which is a definite plus.
That was old this is new;
Contractor for DOD-Now at Travis AF base...just coding now...auditing doc's work..interesting stuff
