Nancy's Story
Hello, I am enjoying my retirement. My life is busy and I wonder "How did I ever have time to work?".
I retired the end of 2008 after 23 years of working in the criminal section of the Tarrant County District Clerk's office. Decided I had had enough of crime.
Now my days are spent enjoying my two daughters, and three grandchildren; traveling and working on my house and yard. I have one dog, Coco and one cat, Smokey that rule the house. I still have time for friends and am active in my SINGLES Sunday school class at local church. Notice I said single and looking!
My favorite way to relax is a spending time with friends and family. Having a glass of wine, playing cards or Mexican Train; listening to Celtic music or any other type of music.
While in school, I would probably have been nominated for the most quite gal. Not anymore, enjoy a joke and playing jokes on my friends. Still, I tend to be ...Expand for more
rather reserved around large groups, but am comfortable in small groups of friends. Like fine wine, I am better than ever!
After high school, my parents moved to Fort Worth and I still reside in the northwest part of Fort Worth. Love to get in my car and take off on adventure.
I still wonder about a few guys that I was too shy to pursue while in school - Alvin Hartz, Jeff Bell, and John Buckalew. Would love to hear from all of them.
Enough about me, someone write me and let me know what is going on in your life.
Since graduation, I have attended college, married, had two beautiful daughters and then divorced.I now have three wonderful grandchildren and two son-in-laws. In December, 2008 I retired after 24 years working in the Criminal Section of the Tarrant County District Clerk's office. They last two years have been filed with travel, spending time with family and friends and my dog and cat.
