Workplace
I retired from public school teaching May 2001. I spend my time in the garden when ever possible. I have been painting since the mid 70's, primarily in oils and some acrylic. I have done a few craft shows, but it turns out that is a lot more work than anticipated, so I paint to please myself and for gift giving. I have always loved arts/crafts. get more serious about photography. I like to quilt and make dolls or stuffed animals ... pretty much gave up embroidery as it is so painful with arthritis.
I am a member of CACE (Cumberland Artisans for Creative Expression), Society of Decorative Painters and international painters group, Friends of Cloth Dolls an online club, Monterey Garden Club ....and do some volunteer work in these organizations.
