Nancy's Story
Who am I really? Wow...well, I'm someone who appreciates every day. I love to laugh and enjoy life so try not to take things too seriously. I was blessed with a great childhood, due to great parents and good friends and now have two terrific sons who make me proud to be their mom. I also loved my profession (teaching)and miss teaching so I'm looking for another career involving children. I was a professional photographer for about 25 years and attended more than my share of weddings but decided a few years ago that my Saturday's were more important to me than the money! urvived a 28 year marriage to a man who still remains my friend and father to my sons, and a less than two year marriage to my 'soulmate' who passed away of colon cancer shortly after we were married. He taught me to cherish each day and live life to the fullest. I'm dating again and traveling and doing what most of you are doing at this point in your life; I am cleaning and downsizing as much as possible. Simplify is my motto now. My dear father is still alive at age 92, nearly 93, and is still living in my Ellington Road house in South Windsor. So I guess that's about it!
