Life has been really busy. Keegan started the 3rd grade last week, we have very exciting new Clients at work and of course, there is Hike Training and Fund-raising. Since my last update, I have hiked EVERY WEEKEND! From 7 hour days to 11 hour days depending upon the location. We have been to Fort Mountain State Park, Red Top Mountain and the Benton McKaye Trail in Blue Ridge GA. The hike to Len Foote Hike In on the Appalachian Trail, I thought was definitely going to kill me. But I did survive. We started the hike at 9:30am and finished at 4pm. I have also been hiking to the top of Stone Mountain weekly as part of my mid-week workout and can really see the difference in my endurance. But enough about that, let¿s get to what is really important. My fund-raising efforts have not produced. To date I have raised $568 for the LLS. I have to say 8 hours of a yard sale with loads of donated merchandise (thanks to all that donated and helped) did not meet expectations. Even more shocking, 8 hour...Expand for more
