Nancy's Story
Where do I begin, since it has been at least 42 years. I went to work for Continental Airlines in 1971. I lived in Los Angeles, Chicago and finally arrived back to Seattle. I flew for 11 years and enjoyed it tremendously, until Continental closed there base in Seattle and instead of moving to another city I left the airlines to raise my children and run the family business. My husband Mike Stacey from West Seattle inherited his fathers Painting business and I inherited the books. We have 3 wonderful Children Danielle [31] married to Johnathan Pedro, Morgan [28] married to Illich Vahimi and Spencer [23]. ...Expand for more
No Grandchildren as yet. Life with Mike Stacey was an adventure -- We bought and remodeled many houses, built a wonderful home on the bluff of Lincoln Park in West Seattle and opened a Bed & Breakfast that I operated till Mike and I divorced in 1998. At that time since we had just finished a 12 home development in Renton Highlands, I chose to move my family into the spec house Mike and I had built. 4 years later I married Phil Rasmussen a retired dry land farmer from Montana. We live in an condo overlooking the north end of Lake Washington. It feels that I have come full circle back to my home territory.
