Nancy's Story
Life
I currently live in Fort Mohave, Arizona and am now remarried to Charlie Long. I moved to Arizona from California after retiring from Corona-Norco Unified School District where I had worked for 12 years as administrative assistant and school secretary. My fourth husband, Fred, passed away on July 1, 2003. We were happily married almost 10 years and owned a home in Corona. I sold the house and bought a home on an acre and a quarter and had a swimming pool installed. I own one horse, Tinman, a thoroughbred I adopted from Nevada, 3 dogs...Expand for more

I have two grown daughters, Jennifer, and Kelly. Jennifer is married and lives in Elizabeth, Colorado, with my two granddaughters, Kendall and Emily. Kelly lives in Virginia and is a swim coach. She is married to Jeremy Call.
I keep busy taking care of animals and enjoy writing. I am a published author and am working on the sequel to my novel, "The Girl Who Loved Jupiter." It is a story about a girl and a horse, of course, for young adult or pre-teen children.
I am a member of the local community theatre.
