Nancy's Story
My years in High School I spent teaching dance (ballet and tap) after school and on weekends. So I left Cheerleading and gymnastics, although I did workout with the team. Left high school got various jobs and then decided at 26 to go to college. Graduated in three (3) years from Rider College, in NJ, (now University) in 1982. Took Finance and Accounting; was a financial analyst then got more into the accounting end of things. Married my husband Tom of 34 years this year, 2020, had one son, Kyle who is now 29. He went through the Council Rock school system. Moved to Delray Beach, FL in 2010 lived at the intracoastal, then in May 2019 we moved into our new home that we built in Boynton Beach, FL . an opportunity here at our club to play anymore. I love to read, I am a quilter and I do embroidery when I get time. We have an active social life that keeps me very busy. My friend since 7th grade at Neshaminy Jr. H/S, Cindi Amodei Rosenberger is still my closest friend and we have remained in touch through all these years. I only went to the 5th and 30th year reunions. Most of the Concert Choir people I knew where there, and Rickey Rosenblatt from my Cheerleading days. Others I was hoping to see were not there. Debbie Dunlap, Denise Leary, Shelly Haney, Ruth Schwartz, John Slaughter, Debbie Simmons, Lisa Nemetz, Sue Morton and so on. Anyone going to the 50th anniversary? Can we have it somewhere different than were you have been having it? An upgrade in venue would be nice. Also, hopefully COVID-19 will have subsided so we can have a 50th reunion.
