Nancy's Story
I always wanted to be a parapsychologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a flaky idea. As it turns out, they were right. I never made it to the 8 years of college I had planned. I have however studied all things metaphysical and new age-ish and am considered a metaphysician by some. I also now do a little stand up comedy when I can. As it turns out, first church of comedy saved my life.
I have been married twice and have 2 sons and one step-son. I lived in San Jose, for a couple of years; Denver for 3 years but seemed to always gravitate back to Reno, where I've spent most of my adult life.
Currently I live in Beautiful Bellinham, Washington where I have spent the last 4 years. It has the charm of a little town with the convenience of a city. It is really gorgeous here if you can...Expand for more

I have changed my name to "Deva" and my last name is Mayfield. I am listed this way in the phone book. I would be thrilled to hear from any of my old "homies"
I raised purebred Abyssinian, Burmese, and Tonkinese cats for about six years, and the raised miniature dachsunds for another 19 years. Now I just have one cat and one dog in my home. I was afraid one day I'd end up one of those crazy old cat ladies you hear about. I still love to sing and play guitar although I never got any better at it in all these years LOL!
My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring. I was so completely right...huh!.
My best friend would tell you I'm a hippie crystal lady, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as an old hippie gypsy lady.
