Nancy's Story
I have been living in Lee's Summit, Missouri for about 9 1/2 years now. I am married to my second husband, Terry. I have three children : Derek (27), Nicole (25) and Josh (20). They also live near me. I work at the Kansas City Art Institute in the student achievement office. ylvania and Missouri. I am very involved in the Brain Aneurysm Foundation by helping to start a brain aneurysm support group in Kansas City. My father died from a ruptured brain aneurysm in 1967, I had brain surgery for an unruptured brain aneurysm in 2000 and my husband suffered a giant aneurysm rupture in December 2007. He is still recovering but it is a miracle that he survived.
