Nancy's Story
Hope you all enjoy the photos of Texas City and League City.
My best memories are attending Heights Elementary, Levi Fry, Texas City High School, First Baptist Church, CCD Dances, Showboat movies and softball games with friends in Texas City. I was Head Drummer in the Texas City High School Band prior to moving to Kemah with my family my junior year.
I quickly made new friends at Clear Creek High School and became the Head Drummer in the CCHS Band. Since there was no softball teams in League City in the summer, I became a hostess at Jimmie Walker's Edgewater restaurant my junior and senior year. Good grades in school earned me a 1969 Boss 302 Red Ford Mustang. Even though it didnt have air conditioning, I thought it was the coolest car in town.
I attended College of the Mainland for a year, marrie...Expand for more
d a man from Dickinson and have two wonderful sons. I earned my degree from UT-Dallas in 1986, and got great jobs with EDS, IBM and Compaq.
Marriage to the first husband didnt last after being together for 20 years. I found a much better catch when I wasn't looking for a relationship. They say that's how it happens, and they are right. True love does exist.
I am also the author of a bestselling true crime autobiography. I plan to write books when I finally retire. But for now, I'm happy working and travelling around the world with my sister to trace our roots in Scotland, England and Germany.
I havent played golf at Pebble Beach yet, or travelled to Hawaii, but these are at the top of my List of Things to Do before you're 60.
Hope you're all happy and doing well! Write me when you can.
