Nancy's Story
I am married, my second time and have been this time for almost 28 years, with 2 little ones(big now 29 and 20). We live in the great state of Texas where the sun shines all the time. I am busy with my job-nursing in the gynocolgy department with the best group of doctors and nurses. Been to Germay many times with my husband (Army) and myself with the Texas National Guard. No grand children in my life yet, hope that happens a long while from now. Every so often we get to travel back up north to the Mayland way but not too often. Don't really care for the weather up that way too humid for my blood. Found this site a while back but didn't really get on to until now, my life is very busy so I do not get on the computer often, only to do some typing for my job or to order online. morning. One of my hobbies is gun collecting and going to the range for target practice with my husband. I like dancing, we take ballroom dance lessons when we can-it's cool because my husband and I are usually the youngest ones taking the lessons. My favorite lessons are the latin dances, sometimes I go to work and practice my moves when I have down times between the patients we see. Anyway it keeps a smile on my face and my body and mind young.
Several years later and I still have no grandchildren yet, different nursing job, now skilled nursing. Going to graduate in May this year with RN will be my last year as an LVN and then see where life or job takes me. Have not been up to Maryland in many years hope to get back for a visit maybe later this year. Trying to stay healthy and happy these days, I think I am doing a good job with both.
