Nancy's Story
After graduating, I found a job at Frost Bank, but in 1964 I married and we moved to north Texas. During our 39 years of marriage, we had 2 daughters while living on the coast.
By the early 1980's my parents had moved to Johnson City and with their health failing, we moved to Blanco to be closer to them. When our youngest daughter graduated, we sold our home and went to full time R.V. for 3 1/2 years, goin...Expand for more
g to Alaska in the summer to work then back to Texas for winters.
We had several business ventures, the last being at Canyon Lake where we lived when my husband died suddenly of a heart attack.
In that same year, our best friend lost his wife and later we found each other and married. We have a combined total of 3 daughters,9 grandchildren, and 2 great grand daughters.
Live is good and we are so blessed!!
