Nancy's Story
Short version of a long story....
I married Rick Williams from North Fulton in 69. We made it through two children and four rounds of cancer (Rick). He died at an early age.
I finished undergraduate and graduate work in psychology and spent a career first owning a counseling center and then an Employee Assistance Service.
After swearing off men, I ate my words and married Christopher Schaufele - a mathmatics professor from Kennesaw College. is in the middle of nowhere. Instead of traffic jams we deal with cattle drives.
I spend most of my time hiking, horseback riding (I have two) and generally loving life here. Chris and I have now been married 20 years. My daughter lives in Charleston with her husband and two young children and my son lives in Sydney Australia.
Our home overlooks the LaPlata mountains where we live with three dogs, two cats, two horses (as well as lions, bear and coyote - no tigers).
I have a new career as a writer and have published a few short stories and am working on a book.
All-in-all life is grand but I hate wrinkles.
