Always Dreaming won the Kentucky Derby yesterday.
Barbara's great granddaughter Kelly, from Massachussets, receiving First Holy Communion yesterday. She is wearing a family dress made from Sheila's grandmother's wedding dress that all the girls in the family have worn.
Local stores donate bread and baked goods to us twice a week and this morning I found Naan bread on the table. Reminds me of having dinner at an Indian restaurant with Jessie and John.

Congratulations to Takuma Sato for his Indy 500 win yesterday. He didn't deserve the criticism for being Japanese. He won through skill as a driver and a lot of luck after so many crashes during the race.

Tapwrit won the Belmont Stakes.
The Red Lantern was given to Cindy Abbott yesterday, the last finisher in the Iditarod. Today is the awards banquet.
