Nancy's Story

Life I attended Euclid Elementary School from Kindergarten thru 6th Grade...remember kindergarden and 6th grade...attended Woodrow Wilson Jr High 7th thru 9th grade do not remember any of those years as to teachers, classrooms, friends...Attended Herbert Hoover High School from 10th thru 12th grade...have some memories from 11th grade up...if anyone knew me from any of these years could you write and fill me in on what you know about me? Strange request I know...I had a traumatic childhood and there are huge chunks missing from it...am in therapy and pretty much know now what happened in my home life...remember some of school life but not much...was ridiculed in Kindegarten and this continued all through grade school as far as I can determine...never had any close friends...was never allowed to socialize even if I might have wanted or been able to d...Expand for more
o so....I joined the Marine Corps after graduating and spent almost 9 years on active duty where I met my husband and we married and have 3 children...all grown now .. oldest is a Dr of Pathology in Veterinarian medicine...middle is a CWO in the U.S. Navy...and our youngest is in Law Enforcement. When the our children reached the college age, I went back to work and worked for several years in a hospital...first as a switchboard operator, then admitting clerk and last position held was in the Emergency Room which I liked the most. We are grandparents to 8 year old twins...the delight of our life. Have been married 50 years. Have been a friend 'in good standing' with Bill W for the las 42 years (for those of you who know who Bill W is). Would love to hear from you. In 10 years, I hope to be 83. I'm going to get there by LIVING ONE DAY AT A TIME..
