Nancy's Story
I grew up in Greeley and went to Cameron Elementary...then Heath. Many of the kids from Cameron and Heath went to Meeker and then Central so it has been fun doing the class reunions together. After High School, I went to Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln...came back to UNC to finish up and then married Tom May. We had 2 kids...Angie who is now 34 living in Chicago with husband and 1 year old son Calvin...and John, 31, lives here with his wife and 3 darling children...2 girls and a 3 week old boy. In 1985 we moved to Phoenix, AZ...I got my real estate license in 1988 and reitred 3 years ago to become a full time watercolor artist doing portraits of people...Expand for more
and dogs. In 1990 I divorced and am now married to a great guy, Jon Bowerman...we travel alll summer and quite a bit throughout the rest of the year. Jacque (Brown) Smith, Nancy Vaughan and Bobbie Helling have lived here for a number of years and we get together often for breakfast. (Jacque just moved to Indiana for 2 years so we miss her). This spring we had a big surprise...Judy (Montey) Brunk, Carol (Roth) Pucak and Luann (Pearce) Mathey flew in to town for a 5 day reunion. We had the most wonderful time and have planned an annual get together for next June in Glenwood Springs, CO where Carol lives. Hope to see any of you soon.
