Nancy's Story

Life Born in New Mexico, was a railroad brat for 10 years, then dad went to work at Magma in 1956, and I graduated 1964, married 1st to Teddy Ray Keith (class of '63) Children: Virgil ,(deceased) Eric Keith ,(deceased) and Laurie : My 3 grandchildren are Chris, Robert Shelbie. Chris served in Afghanistan and returned safely, and my daughter is in the Army Nat. Guard. Divorced from Ted. Married to Robert Hough. He is a Sheet Metal Supervisor/Forman, and loves his work! Is retired, but still working. My interests and hobbies are photography, computer, family history, crafts, and most of all...prehistoric and historic archaeology. I work as a volunteer with various state organizations, helping to protect and preserve archaeological sites. Currently working on an historic mining and ranching site in Southern Arizona. Currently restoring the beautiful site as it was in the 1800's. Serving as an officer for that organization. Attended archaeological field, survey & mapping classes. uins. Worked for a northern Arizona town as a tour guide and museum clerk, as well as excavation of a prehistoric site. The view from the top of the site is marvelous..a good place to take the family. Leave a message here, and I can tell you about the site. My parents are gone now, but we still own the family home where we grew up, and I visit often. Still reading the local paper, , but don't recognize many names anymore! I think I am reading about the great-grandchildren of my classmates now!!! Where did the time go? It sems like only yesterday that we were all just getting out of school, looking toward our fututre....now we look back and wonder where it all went! However, I plan to be around a long time into the future...my grandchildren need someone around to teach them what it was like in the 60's! Have attended various Class Reunions and loved them all!
