Nancy's Story
Finally have a bit of time to try this story thing. My story? Have 4 kids and 3 grandchildren, they're the loves of my life! Left VV in early 70's for LA, well, Glendale, CA...close enough. From there Kathryn, Jeremy and I moved to San Diego in 1980,(the same year Terry passed away. Not being morbid, just in case anyone wondered what happened to him). Busy life, being a single mom, raising 2 kids and working. But, life goes on. Met and married a man, has a beautiful daughter, Ivy, and we all became one big "happy family"? We had one son, Jeffrey, born on Kathryn's 21st B-Day, what timing, right? Anyway, left my hubby and 20 yrs later here I am in Rouses Point, NY, living w/my daughter and son-in-law, after a 2 yr. stop-over in Las Vegas. Couldn't hang w/the heat. lthough I do love to go and visit. You know, do all the tourist things. And, I did reconnect at the very last minute w/MaryAnn Cope, aka McElmurray,(hope I spelled that right) and Karen Pinkerton, aka Cordova (did spell that right!). I have to say I truly enjoyed that, just wished it had happened sooner than later. Anyway, now that I'm here, I most likely won't be attending the 40th, although I'm pretty disappointed by that prospect. I was so looking forward to it, surprisingly enough. For some reason I thought I wanted to leave all that behind and I'm happy to discover that I don't. So, I'm trying my hardest to justify the expense when I'm currently unemployed and living on my savings.
But, we shall see. Should I not be able to attend, HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME. Going for now...As Always, Nancy
