Nancy's Story
I've recently returned to Portland, Oregon after living in California for some probably 30 years. Owned a sail boat while I was there and sailed on San Francisco Bay. Also did lots of skiing when I lived in Portland before moving to the San Francisco and Montery area. Don't do either anymore but quilt, walk, read and visit grandchildren. Live in Summerplace in NE Portland which, I was very skeptical, has become a great place to live, with tennis, golf, swimming,and many other activities, Always felt like Portland was home no matter where I was. t to take a drive out the Columbia River Highway on a nice day. Haven't done that for many years. One of my daughters lives in Great Falls, Montana. I thought about moving there because there's not much rain but the grandchildren won and I do still have friends here from when I lived here previously. Recently took a quilting cruise down the coast of Mexico. That was February and the weather was a welcome change. I belong to an investment club here and two quilting groups. I'm not much for cards although they seem to have every kind covered here as well as potlucks, dances, plays, and other entertainment. Would love to hear from old friends or acquaintenaces.
