Nancy's Story
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, I joined the US Peace Corps and traced to Cameroon,
West Africa. I worked for three years with Women's Palm Oil Cooperatives. I taught accounting. On return to the
US, I worked at a Mac software developer in downtown Boston. I was an Event Planner and set up meetings and trade shows. In 1986, my husband, John and I moved to DC area.
I worked at a computer company in Event Planning and traveled the US
setting up Executive and user meetings, seminars and trade shows.

1988 followed by Nicholas in 1990. I was lucky to be able to stay at home with the kids and bring them up. I spent many years as a room Mom,soccer, hockey and lacrosse Mom.
Great Years! Once they went off to college, I volunteered at the Smithsonian Institution and set up Art classes for
Professional Artists. Sarah is now in Grad School at Columbia university in NYC, studying Historic a Preservation.
Nick is now working for a startup computer developer outside of Philly.
John and I happily moved with our 14yr old yellow lab, Millie, to Charleston, Sc.
