Nancy's Story
Hi Everyone,
Wow, can you believe it has been 37 years since we graduated. It seems like only yesterday.
A lot has happened in my life over the past year and a half. I am officially divorced after 34 years of marriage. I still reside in Fort Wayne, IN. I have one terrific son, who is now 22 years old. He is the light of my life. He still lives with me as he is trying to pay off student loans.
I still work in the healthcare field as I did in high school. Only now, I have progressed from a file clerk (which I did in high school) to a Practice...Expand for more
Manager for a group of Psychiatrist and Mental Health professionals. I have worked at the same office for the past 29 years. I love my job, although, it has been become more burdensome with all of the managed care issues. My father and step mother still live in Waterford and my sister and her husband live in Brighton, MI. I am lucky to have my brother and his family in Fort Wayne as well.
I have begun dating again, which is a whole new experience, but am enjoying my new found freedom. As they say, life begins at 50 ... well maybe 55!
