Nancy's Story
After Graduation I worked the summer in Lincoln City, Or, as a waitress. In the fall I went to Beauty school in Portland and graduated in 1962. Worked at it for about 7 years. I then worked for Jantzen for about 7 1/2 years before moving to Ca. where I spent the next 27 years. I had many and varied jobs over the years, but the last 15 before I retired , I was at the front deck of a Durable Medical Equipment Co. answering phones and doing Data entry. Loved it! Allen and I retired in Sept of 2003 and moved back to Oregon. We are avid gardeners and enjoy reading in our spar...Expand for more
e time. I do a lot of canning in the summer and fall and have a well stock fruit room that Allen built for me. We each had a son when we married in 1985. Erik was a 3rd year law student when he was killed in a bicycle accident in Oakland Ca. Devastating! Steven works for Columbia Helicopter and is a Mechanic/sheet metal specialist who works out of Peru. Both our Boys were married, we have 2 beautiful daughter in laws but no grandkids. We love to travel and have been across the United States many times. We like taking the roads less traveled and enjoying the countryside.
