Nanette's Story
Life
I remain a single mother of 24 year old twin sons, by trade one is a weed and pest technician and the other works on the wind turbines doing operations and maintenance. They live in their first home (bought from me) and I live on the southeastern side of the state.
I put myself through college as a non traditional student and earned my BS in Psychology. After college I worked as a Victim Advocate/Program Coordinator at a Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault Agency. After this job I became a volunteer advocate for my local Sheriff's and Police Dept.
For four years I worked at a local Pre School as the Center Social Worker/Head Start Coordinator/Medicaid Waiver Case Manager.
In April 2008 I moved to the other side of the state to accept a job with the Attorney General's Office, Division of Victim Serv...Expand for more
ices. It is a Wonderful job, I travel around the state and out of state for this job.
I purchased my new home in August and just love it. I love my garage, no more scrapping the ice off my windows in the winter!!!!! I have a dog who acts like a kid and it's wonderful. Though I have technically been single for 19 years, I have had my share of dating. I took a break for a while now I am ready to jump back into the game, though I am a little hesitant, I need to take a leap and see what happens.
I go onto the cibola beacon website often and that is how a few of my friends from Grants High have gotten in touch with me.
Well I guess that is about all for now, I hope to hear from those of you that I went to school with, no matter which school it was...until then, take care of you. Nanette aka "Nutts"
