Nanette Davis:  

I was born and raised in the City of San Francisco. Most important to me now is, I am now a proud grandmother of a beautiful baby boy as of March, 2020. Only 6 lbs. His name is Caiden. and he will be a new chapter of my life, lol. I graduated from Sanchez Elementary, Herbert Hoover, Jr. High School, and Polytechnic High School, in the class of 1969. I liked making the Honor Roll a few times and I would get extra allowances when i made it from my step dad. I was also crowned Miss Polytechnic 2nd runner up one year while attending school and remembering singing in the school choir. Loved that song "Oh Happy Day" (My nickname was Shorty in school). Since my family moved frequently I always found new friends to play with in various neighborhoods due to me being an only child until I was 12 yrs. old. Still remember the age of 8 or 9 yrs old looking at a UFO passing over the projects one warm Summer night while I was playing outside. Anyway back to the present days ahead, I eventually graduated from the City College of San Francisco, with a degree in Teaching, and then I continued on to San Francisco State College. I have two sons and now 1 grandchild at this time, and I have been married twice. My favorite foods are soul food, Chinese food, Mexican food and seafood dishes. Sometimes creole or cajun food. My favorite music is R&B, Pop, hip hop and gospel. My favorite movies were Waiting To Exhale, Black Panther, Lady Sings The Blues. and The Imitation of Life. Recently, the movie Girls Trip starring Queen Latefah and others. A favorite actor was Billy D.
