Naomi's Story
After graduating from Mt. Tahoma, I went to Western Washington State College, which became Western Washington University while I was there. I graduated with a degree in Math and minors in Chemistry and Physics. I met my husband at Western, Wayne Holmes, and we were married in the middle of our senior year. I also became a committed Christian while at Western, and have followed the Lord ever since. Wayne and I have lived in the Seattle area since 1978. so graduated from Western) and Jeremy Holmes, Bible school graduate. Jessica has two boys, Gabe (8) and Gideon (6), and Jeremy has a daughter, Ellie (almost 4).
Wayne's degree is in computer Science, and he has worked in that field since graduating in 1978. I ended up homeschooling our kids, and have taught Science and Math classes for groups of homeschoolers throughout the years. I also do private tutoring in my home. When asked what I "do" now, my reply is usually, "I am a professional Grandma!"
