Natalie's Story
Life
Still have the same friends... I own half a biz with my ex husband. yikes. I am flying back and forth to So Cal and Chicago every 3-4 weeks or so. No glamour. Just car parts.
Kris took me on a road trip to Mississippi on a rescue mission... We went to Waveland, MS which was ground zero for Katrina. Opened me eyes that is for sure.
I own too many cars because of the biz I am in, nothing cool. Volvos and Saabs. Nope, not brand new either. Do you need a car? In Cali I have an apartment, an office, and a cat. In Chicago, an office, my half dog, and a room to stay in.
I married a crazy Russian that I met a few years out of high school, but we grew out of each other about 12 years later, but he is still my business partner, which is good for him since he has low blood pressure and I can keep it normal for him.
I have since moved on to the next man, and we happily reside with his 2 six foot tall teenage boys in Huntington Beach, CA. We live really close to the beach and probably don't go as often as we should. I have experienced 3 earthquakes now, and am dreading the day I get to feel the big one... however I am fully prepared. I think more prepared than everyone in my area!
I still have my friends from High School even though we are pretty spread out. The people that I still keep in contact with: Annie and Julie are still in the Chicago area, Brandy is in So Cal, Kris is in Egypt (Peotone), Sheryl in FL, Tracy in NC, and Wendy, she is in MO. Still talk to a few of the boys, they all remained pretty close to Palatine.
We are looking to move out of the most expensive housing market (Orange County) within the next year now that the bubble has burst or whatever they call it out here in La la land. We will most likely end up about 35 miles from the beach, and 15 miles from pure desert but that is what you have to do to not have a $50,000 mortgage out ...Expand for more

School
I think I am the only person that ever fills these silly things out. Crush? Ha ha. You know who you were... I am sure. Don't play dumb... Too many to list, but I was never really noticed as an actual girl. It was best that way anyway. I worked too much and slept to little and still managed to make good grades.
My absolute favorite teachers, first of all Herr Schmidt who totally caught me cheating and didn't bust me BUT I never cheated EVER again because I felt SOOOOOOO guilty because he was so cool! Then Mr. Brewner... I used to say Mr. Romano but I saw him at a Fremd writing thing at Barnes and Noble and said hi to him and he totally blew me off and didn't even act like he remembered me at all. So, Mr. Romano you are off the fav teacher list.... Who else... Mr. Benton, Mr. Ahlman, Miss Emmer.
I was never happy in high school. Gloom and Doom. Can't say I have changed much except I just act happy now to make my employees happy.
My Craziest High School memories? You wouldn't believe them if I told you. Rest assured that I am thankful that the teenagers I have do NOTHING even close to what I did in high school. In fact today I had to pay an overdue fine at the library of $2.40 for one of the boys and I was all annoyed and had to refocus...
College
It took me like 10 years to finish an ass degree and another 1 year to not finish my bach degree. Whatever. I have what I need, I am pretty sure I know much more than any degree would have ever taught me at this point.
My business includes managing Russians, bargaining with Italians, Chinese, and Swedes, plastic injection molding machines, sales, installing body parts on cars etc etc etc. Thinking up new grand plans so I don't have to work for someone else... I doubt I could have learned most of this in school. I surely did not need to be emotionally scarred from Geometry class that is for sure.
