Natasha's Story
After graduation, I worked as a police dispatcher for Westland where I met my husband. We married in 1994 and are still happily together. We tried to have kids but that didn't quite work out for us, so we have dogs instead. At our peak, we had 4, but are now down to just 2 - an Ibizan Hound and a Greyhound. They have their very own website for anyone interested (or for anyone wondering what the heck an Ibizan Hound is) at freewebs.com/hopesmom.
I may not have my own children, but I have incredible nieces and nephews whom I love dearly! I am lucky to have them nearby so that I can visit whenever the mood strikes me. And give them back to their parents when they exhaust me.

o adopt. Prior to that, I was on the board of a local group. The greyhound rescue work takes up an enormous amount of time, but it is satisfying and I've met some really great people as a result!
As if the greyhound rescue wasn't enough work, I've also volunteered to help a political campaign for the first time in my life. I feel very strongly about the issues our country is currently facing and figure that if I just sit back and do nothing, I have no right to complain when things aren't going the way I think they should.
So that's what I'm doing. The volunteer work and the dogs keep me busy, but it's a lot of fun. Gracie (the Ibizan Hound) and I walk around Glenn every night, so I still see my old high school stomping grounds regularly. Things are so different, but still so much the same as when we were all there.
