Natasha's Story
After high school I went on to college at UC Santa Barbara. Had heavy doses of both education and frivolity while I worked to get a dual degree in Sociology and Political Science. Learned to surf and lived in Costa Rica for a month. Didn't know what to do with myself after graduating, so then I moved to San Diego and went to law school. Learned to snowboard, got into rock climbing and met my husband. After graduation I passed the California bar but then got a great job in Las Vegas, so we moved and took another bar exam. firm since 2001, working my way up. My husband started his own law practice specializing in family law. We bought a new house in 2003, I made partner in 2005. The firm is now 25 lawyers (and growing), in two states (NV and AZ), with more employees than I can keep track of nowadays (but I remember all their names). In 2008, the firm underwent our third name change and I'm one of the partners that was added to the name. Lot's of work, lot's of responsibility, but we continue to play hard. We snowboard almost every weekend of the winter with my long time buddy Yvette, play golf down the street, go to San Diego and LA for surf, and spend quality time with friends at our pool in the summer.
