Nelda's Story
I worked at AOHA in Park Ridge for a year then Borg Warner until I moved to Arkansas in 1979. Married in 1982 and had a beautiful daughter. Was married for 18 years and it ended. I decided to make something good out of a bad situation, I qualified for Pel Grants, so I went back to school. I received an Associates in Office/Business Technology and one in Accounting.

I have two grandchildren, Cain who is 7, he joined our family at 3 years old when my daughter married his dad, and a little girl who is 2 1/2 years old and has granny wrapped real tight. If I had two words to describe my life they would be "blessed" and "fulfilled".
