Life I am a retired Lecturer from San Jose State with an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. I have had a pretty adventurous life, running marathons, flying, sailing, scuba diving, rock climbing and most of it after 40! I like taking risks. For several years I studied Polynesian dancing. It was very relaxing and only one form of dance I have studied. My parents didn't have money for dance classes, so I taught myself and when I finally took dance, I already had a sense of placement. I have one published collection of poetry, _After Altamira_, and three more manuscripts are in process plus my essays, short stories and blogs. See Amazon for my book. I have had poems published in Adirondak Review, phren-z, Konch Magazine and Appalachian Times. My scholarly review of Richard Berengarten's poem, __Averbury__, was published in 2012 in the UK. It would surprise people how much I love performing and how much dancing, singing and acting I've done on stage in addition to reading my own work at readings.
