Nellie's Story
I was Nellie Watson but married Garland Parish. Well I graduted for SOC High School in 1955. Got married rite after in October. We lived in Dallas for awhile but when went to having kids we moved to the country. We ended up with 7 kids--2 sons and 5 daughters. I stayed home until all the kids went thru school and left home. he was an L.V.N nurse, I worked in nursing homes. Until fell at work and broke my back. It took 5 years to get everything done on the back and could walk. Then the kids went to having grandkids and greatgrandkids. I have 25 grandkids and 20 greatgrandkids. So there is not a dull day. There is always something going on. This year we celebrate 55 years of marriage. That is about it.
