Nell's Story
Hi everyone. Well, in a nutshell: After High School I went to ST. Lukes School of Nursing in Denver. I decided a nursing carreer was not for me. About a year later I married my first husband Dennis Stevenson. We had 1 son. Dennis was a sales Rep in the Wyoming area for Rexall Drug Co, so we lived in Laramie Wyo. for a couple of years then back to Denver. We decided the motel business sounded interesting so we bought a motel in Santa Fe New Mexico. That was lots of fun and very interesting. Santa Fe was a wonderful place to live. We sold that and rented a house on the beach in So Padre Island Tx and vacationed for a few months. Then back to owning the Holiday Inn in Rawlins Wyo. Life changed, got a divorce in 1979. Lived in Denver.
I married my present husband John Stewart in 1983 and we are living happily ever after!
We moved to Texas, did a lot of RVing. Moved to the Western Slope of Colo. and built a home on 15 irrigated acres. Sold it in 1989, moved to Grand Junction, then back to Texas. More RVing,,.... but no more of that since 1997.
I love genealogy and have been active in that club here as well as quilting, and gardening..
Life has been good, time has gone too fast, but fond memories of old friends and the fun times we had linger on.
