Neva's Story
Life
I married a wonderful guy who graduated from Samuell High School the same year I did. We met Nov. 30, 1980, he proposed Dec 25, 1980, and we were married March 27, 1981.(yes, he's Type A, doesn't waste any time!)
We both went to college. I got my LVN certificate. He is still working on one of multiple degrees. I think it's his Ph.D in archeology this time. Go figure, I married someone who LIKES to study, has even raised it to an artform!
We've been blessed with 3 wonderful children all of whom we have homechooled. Our oldest, James, is a wonderful self-taught guitarist who lives to play. He will be 18 in Dec. Our daughter, ...Expand for more
Johanna is 15, and is a Civil Air Patrol Cadet. She plans on joining the Air Force at 17 and wants to train as a medic. Our youngest, John, is 10, and we fully expect him to be Governor of Texas by the time he is 25. He has incredible leadership ability, but loves to work as part of a team. He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 2, but he does not let that slow him down. If anything, he's faster than the rest of us. His wheelchair can really fly !!
My husband is a public speaker who travels alot, but is often home during the week to help with the kids. I am a homecare nurse (for 18 years) and am home mornings and weekends to do my part.
