Richard's Story
Hi all,
I missed the last two reunions because of my wife's illness. She had progressive MS for 27 years. She finally lost her battle on 8/14/15. We met in Law school and she practiced law for 20 years, only stopping when she could no longer get around.
I was in hospital administration for 32 years, serving as COO at four different hospitals over that time. We lived in Danville, IL; Peoria, IL and West Norwalk, CT during that time. I worked at hospitals in Danville, Peoria, the South Bronx and Farmington, CT over those years. My wife and I adopted 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls ranging in age from 5 to ...Expand for more
8years old when they were adopted. We also adopted 9 dogs 4 Whippets, 4 Italian Greyhounds and a Rat Terrier. I guess we collected just about everything.
I was into old cars and over the years owned 5 MG's; 3 MGB's, an MG Midget, and an MGTD. Also had a 75 Olds convertible, a 73 Dodge Shadow Convertible, a 70 Audi Convertible and a 90 Wanderlodge Motorhome. I still have some of these and am considering getting a Hog since I am finally old enough to own one.
Other than the above I am doing the dogs bidding in sunny Florida. Enjoying the pool, fishing and playing softball with a bunch of really old guys.
