Nicholas's Story
Life
After leaving Nairobi and Nairobi International School (now the International School of Kenya) in the summer of 1971, I moved to Thailand, where I attended the International School of Bangkok. I spent a year studying at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA, and then returned to Bangkok, graduating from ISB in 1974. I left Bangkok upon graduating, in June of 1974, and spent the summer in Italy visiting my sister and her husband. pent the next four years, earning a BS in Computer Science. After a stint with IBM in Syracuse, then Memorex in Santa Clara and San Francisco, I worked for Tandem Computers in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Richard Chang, ISB Class of 1973, was working for Tandem in Singapore during the same period I was in Hong Kong. I left HK in 1995, after switching from computers to television, and have lived in Colorado ever since, first in Englewood and now in Lone Tree. I'm divorced and have three kids and a technology consulting company, which keeps me pretty busy.
