Nicholas's Story
Life
After graduating from Rhodes I went to St. John's University for 2 1/2 years left college to open my own business, a Speed Shop, catering to high performance cars. The Arab oil embargo ended that endeavor. I stayed in the automotive field as a mechanic later working as a mechanic first for the NYC Housing Authority and later for the NYC Dept. of Sanitation. My hobby is modeling toy trains such as "Lionel Trains", "MTH Tains", "Williams Trains", "K-Line Trains". I buy and sell them at train shows and on E-Bay on the internet. I am building a layout in our basement with my daughter. I invented a new type of Garbage truck. I own the patents in the US and several countries. The NYC Department of Sanitation is considering converting all (2400)of their garbage trucks to use my design. I formed a company called "Pack and Go, LLC". It's very exciting.
