Military
After leaving SLH, I joined the Navy and left for boot camp in Great Lakes IL. on 08/25/00. That December I reported to the USS Camden (supply ship) that was deployed to the Persian Gulf. I flew to Bahrain and took a helo to the Ship. I was on-board when 911 hit. We were sent off without knowing where we were going. We ended up along the coast of California refueling and supplying ships headed to where the terrorist were. I went to Signalman school (vis. coms.) in January of 02. Lincoln (Aircraft Carrier). I was there when Operation Iraqui Freedom hit. It was supposed to be a six month deployment, but it turned out to be almost 10 months. I made Petty Officer Second Class then (E5). The highlights have been the people and the places I've been to. I've made many close friends all accross the US and other places. I've been to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Perth and Melborne Austrailia, Hawaii, Alaska, Spain, Italy and coast to coast in the US. I am now stationed in Naval Station Everett working for Port Operations.
