Nicholas's Story

After high school attended 2 colleges, Rockford and IIT, got a summer job in the space program in Huntsville, AL that morphed into full-time. Moved to Ann Arbor, MI as the bottom was dropping out of that program (1969) and soon after all of engineering. Have been here since. Was in engineering/computer work and bought a house to live/rent in 1974. That w...Expand for more
as supposed to be a backup if technical work ran dry, but it turned out to be more remunerative and reliable than the main thrust. I have been fully in property management since 1992. I often miss technical work, but I sure don't miss working for somebody else! I would summarize my story in the adage "Life is what happens while you're making other plans".
